Grand Hotel il Moresco

The hotel is a beautiful older property with lush, tropical gardens. I had to take allergy meds to keep from sneezing because the property is so verdant. The Old World hotel has an aura of calm, serenity, charm & elegance without being pretentious. I felt like I was experiencing a Slim Aarons setting. All the staff were courteous, smiling and helpful. There were multiple swimming/sunning options as the outdoor heated pool, grotto, private beach deck & indoor spa pool were never crowded. The breakfast selections were ample and delicious. with gracious service. Our room was spacious, with a sizable patio with a table & 2 cafe chairs overlooking the gardens. The room was stocked with high-end toiletries and lush bath sheets, robes & slippers. The room had daily housekeeping along with nighttime turn-down service with a free bottle of water & chocolates. We had a marvelous trip to Ponza last summer so had high expectations for Ischia & this hotel, which were met & exceeded. After a one week stay we were not ready to leave. We hope to definitely return to Il Moresco.

It is not our first time staying at this hotel; we always return gladly because it is a corner of paradise in Ischia and everything is perfect, from the comfort to the beauty and tranquility. Everything impeccable, staff, service, food, absolutely TOP
