Agriturismo Cascina Corte Grande

We travelled as a family and had a double room and a family room. Our room was acceptable although the shower cubicle had seen better days and the glass door to our room from the communal hallway was simply bizarre. But the family room was totally inappropriate for small children---- entered via a metal spiral staircase with a bannister strut loose and nowhere to store the buggy. Inside, the stairs to the sleeping area were very steep indeed. However the deal breaker for us was the useless airconditioning which gave out more heat than it took away! We booked on the basis of full airconditioning.The whole place was very run down and I do not feel able to recommend this place to anyone. Full marks to Paolo who does his best.

We stayed for a week at cascina corte grande in Semiana and we had a very pleasant time. The place is beautifully restorated and the staff is excellent. Our 10 year old daughter had multiple horseriding leasons by Fabio, who taught her a lot about american style riding. (Even our dog (a german shepard) had a very good time). The pool was excellent because when we stayed there, it was very hot. The reastaurant is very nice and the complete staf (including Allesandro and especially Paolo) made it a very pleasant stay for us.
