Hilburger Hotel

We have been staying with our two children in Jun 2018. Very nice location in Schenna, though not very panoramic. Nice and well furnished room, quite silent at night. Not very wide choice at breakfasts, mainly with cakes. Very nice in- and outdoor swimming pool. We noticed that in common places (e.g. dining room, pool, etc.) there was not a very child friendly environment... We had some embarrassment in letting our children speaking a bit more loudly (always politely) as often happens...

I visited this hotel because one of its rooms was on a special offer, which was around 100 euro per night. The hotel was located on a foothill surrounded by the mountains. Needless to say the scenery was breathtaking! The room was as clean as it can be, although the single bed might be a bit small for a bigger person. The bathroom was spacious however. The swimming pool and Sauna provide wonderful relaxation options for guests. However the highlights of my stay was the meals. Both breakfast and dinner were fine dining experience, I was absolutely overwhelmed by the dinner services, especially by the variety of high quality dishes (it was a 3 course meal plus soup). I would definitely come back to Schenna BECAUSE of Hilburger Hotel.
