Lantico Borgo Dei Limoni

I am torn what to say on this review as our accomodation was quite sparse and basic. No real niceties in the room. Nothing plush or noteworthy, just a room with crusty towels, a corner shower that you cant turn around in and very basis bedding. Although we got a room with a view the first night, the noise from the road directly below us, motorcycles, buses, trucks kept us up so we switched to a non view, quiet room. The host lady was lovely and really tried to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was good. Location was a challenge as with no car, you had to take the bus everywhere. Walking was dangerous as the roads are narrow and heavily trafficked. We found our stay a challenge.

The hotel is beautiful. The wonderful view. Alessio and Carmela are very dedicated to making us feel very comfortable. Breakfast, very complete. We were recommended to the Restaurant of Nino, who would come to pick us up at hotel to go to dinner (tasty dishes) and bring us back. A special mention of Dongo’s coffee 400 m away. Excellent service.

In a very crowded Amalfi, L'Antico Borgo dei Limoni was an oasis of peace, immersed in a small terraced park. Very helpful and friendly staff, super breakfast, spotless rooms, dream view. Holiday to be repeated, with more calm.
