We stayed at this hotel with a strategic location and wonderful hospitality, compliments to Giulia and our great Anna who pampered us.

We were allocated the Hotel Lord Byron as part of a package deal booked with Voyage Prive. Whilst we had no say in where we were allocated, we could not have stayed at a nicer, more welcoming Hotel. Ischia is a beautiful island, far less pretentious than Capri, and Forio where the Hotel is located is a charming town with good shops and an attractive harbour and beach. The hotel was perfect. The staff friendly and accommodating. My wife is gluten free and vegetarian in her diet, so needed understanding in meal selection. Where no suitable option existed on the menu, the kitchen staff generated something specific for her. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was varied and portion size appropriate. The restaurant had a good wine list, and our Half Board arrangement meant that we barely snacked between our meals. The pool, hydro pool and steam room was scrupulously clean and our room was lovely, clean and cool thanks to the air conditioning. It overlooked the pool and offered a really scenic setting. The reception staff were most helpful in booking our additional excursion to Pompei, and always ensured that we knew where we should be and at what time in order to meet our bus and transfers. In all, a perfect stay. We would definitely return.
