Excelsior Naples

Located right on the bay of Naples, with roof top breakfast/ bar views across to Vesuvius, Capri and the port of Naples, this hotel is right on the edge of the crazy, bustling city. The staff were polite and attentive, the building beautiful outside and inside, and our room- a triple- perfect for our needs. The hotel is an old building and the bathrooms reflect this but were well maintained. Air conditioned throughout with beautiful stairways and hallways. Easy walk to restaurants and bars. Don’t hire a car but rely on the local taxis, or public transport such as the metro, trams, trains and funiculars which take you to some beautiful places.

A hotel of great tradition and charm, at the end of Via Partenope, with a rooftop terrace offering a stunning view. The rooms are classic and elegant, but the bathrooms should be modernized and made more comfortable. All the staff are very kind, especially the Concierge who provided us with many useful suggestions for an in-depth visit of the wonderful city of Naples.
