Fiorentini

I am a female solo traveler in my twenties. I’ve been to 15 countries in the last 2 years, stayed in a variety of b&b’s and hotels, but this was HANDS DOWN MY WORST EXPERIENCE. 1. I reached Fiorentini one hour prior to check-in, and rang the doorbell hoping to store my luggage until check in time. A friend who speaks Italian was with me, who came to drop me at this stay and help me as it was my FIRST TIME in Naples. After several tries at the doorbell, I thought I’ll call them instead. Used my local friend’s phone as I had no coverage (this is located on the 7th floor, and I didn’t have Italian sim). The host lifted on the “eleventh” try, and BEGAN YELLING AT ME. This was because I didn’t pick up their calls the previous day. I had lost that phone and the number. But he wouldn’t let me explain and kept raising his voice at me. I handed over the phone to my friend. 2. Then to my friend he said “I see two people at the door, but the booking is for one. I WILL CALL THE POLICE if you go through the door”. It took us both a lot of attempts to convince him that I am the only person staying and that my friend is to leave immediately. THIS IS THE KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE you can expect here. The kind where they treat you like robbers and thieves, and THREATEN to call the police on their “GUESTS”, PURELY BASED on presumptions. It was my first visit to Italy, and I felt too intimidated, shook and scared. I will never return to Naples because of this experience.

Recommended by a friend of mine and encouraged by numerous reviews on the internet, I booked a night in this B&B during a business trip. My experience was very bad. Small room (and up to here you can only stay for one night) but the thing that disturbed me was the dirt. Bed dirty and full of fur and hair with sheets clearly not changed but on that I'm honest about my complaint they promptly remedied. The room was very dusty and for an allergic person it turned out to be a nightmare. But the most disgusting thing was finding the remains of mucus glued to the walls which I had to remove because the sight of them made me completely nauseated. Not to mention the bathroom with two rolls of toilet paper half done and clearly used. After spending the night at the first light of dawn I ran away from this place even though I could still sleep a little. It's a shame because the owner was very kind and efficient but you can't compromise on basic hygiene standards. Overall the facility is promising but cleanliness should really be a basic requirement. A shame.

Convenient to the center and the major tourist attractions of Naples. Clean and tidy despite its simplicity. Good quality/price ratio. Worth noting is the great availability of the lady who manages the facility. Advised.
