Le Stanze Del Vicere Boutique

I chose this B&B because from the photos it was beautiful, however, it could be if they did some maintenance, the plaster is peeling off and there is a strong smell of stale. The breakfast poor, buffet only an orange juice, biscuits, honey and hazelnuts packaged, biscuits and corn flakes always packaged. The only thing they brought us is an empty brioche and a hot drink. The very large room and comfortable bed, the bathroom is also very large, but the tub / shower to be reviewed, water loss and shower that does not hold. Positive, the luggage storage after check out is the sfogliatella at check in.

I would definitely not describe Le Stanze as a boutique hotel. The rooms are very basic. Our shower leaked, the main light didn't work, the bedside light switches were faulty & the bed very uncomfortable. Although we pointed out the issues with the shower & lights nothing was done. The breakfast offering was very limited & sparce. I appreciate the building itself is old but the rooms are desperately in need of updating

Perfectly placed for exploring, the building is very old and so much character, if you prefer a modern build you wont appreciate the beauty of this building. There are no lifts or a bar etc Rooms are clean and beds are huge, comfy pillows and the air con was great, staff friendly and helpful There is a family of cats in the gardens I think we counted up to 12, they have been spoiled rotten by my boyfriend he went to the little shop outside daily and bought bags of cat biscuits for under 2 euro and fed them they don’t appear to need it but they loved him and became pals he wants to see if we can keep this going so they don’t forget him 🥰
