Villa Signorini Relais

excellent stay in this splendid Vesuvian villa. We had the room in the attic without windows with only a skylight, but it was very well insulated from noise. The lack of a glass to store toothpaste and toothbrushes and the lack of disposable slippers, which are now found in all hotels and B&Bs, is a flaw. Special mention to SALVATORE, the guy at the reception, very nice and generous in giving us advice. Excellent restaurant that we used for 2 nights with traditional food cooked by very well-prepared chefs. Priceless view from the terrace over the Gulf of Naples with a view of the islands of CAPRI, ISCHIA, and NISIDA. The view is worth the trip.

This hotel, a villa of a member of the Bourbon family who ruled the Kingdom of Naples-Sicily, is located in a green setting, far from the noise of Naples. It offers a haven of peace, close to a royal palace (now an agricultural university) and other former official buildings. The main building includes the most beautiful rooms. But the second and last floor only has blind rooms, without windows, with just a Velux in the roof. To be avoided for claustrophobics. Next to this central building, there are two peripheral annexes with ground-floor rooms. These rooms with terrace are small but perfectly functional. They are more like a 3-star hotel than a 4-star, the official rating of the hotel. A big advantage: the possibility of eating outside under umbrellas. It is particularly pleasant in the summer. But the hotel's cuisine remains average. Aside from the pasta, which is often good, the meat dishes and desserts are not of good quality.

Just came back from a 4 night stay. The building and ground are beautiful. Nothing was to much much trouble. The pool area was fantastic and Alexandro was so lovely and so helpful. The rooms we stayed in were very basic but very clean and were great for our needs. Breakfast was ok. But for the price we paid for this hotel it was more than worth it. The man who managed reception at night was amazing and always managed to get us a drink from the bar when we returned late in the evening. He was so helpful and very friendly. The pool was very clean and provided pool towels which was very handy. Only not giving a five because the breakfast wasn’t great but as I already stated well worth the price. A hidden gem. Thank you
