Grand Hotel Certosa

Writing this review for the following reason : This is a large hotel maybe 150 rooms . I asked for a 2 rooms for 8/6 and 8/7. All the websites said no availablity. I called and they said not available. Yet when I walked by on those 2 dates the place was completely devoid of any guests or any cars in the lot. I was forced to stay at a far inferior place . Why do they tell people theyre full when obviously thats not the case !

Generally the food is decent, we ate a seafood appetizer and a fried calamari dish but we were disappointed by the fried calamari, not good and rubbery.

At the reception, one should be WELCOMING more than anything else....that is what is MISSING!!!!!
