B&B Casa Nilde Positano

Loved Casa Nilde! We stayed in the family room which has 2 separate sleeping rooms and a bathroom. There was plenty of space, more than expected. The AC worked fabulously which is very important in Positano. It is SO HOT in August, especially after climbing hundreds of stairs all day long. The breakfast and view were awesome. Breakfast was made to order (you fill out a menu checklist the day before) and so delicious. Luigi, the owner, was so helpful and very quick to respond to any questions about the stay or any other questions about the area and getting around. His help was priceless for our family. We found a great option out of the heat and into a cool pool one day based on Luigi's recommendation and it really made our day. We did have a brief issue with hot water in the shower, but very quickly 2 guys came to fix it. The whole team was very attentive and courteous, asking if we needed more coffee or whatever after breakfast, and asking when a convenient time for room cleaning would be. Casa Nilde and many other B&Bs and hotels are a little higher up than beach level. Going down all the stairs is ok, but coming up much harder. It is very easy to use the bus system (2 Euros cash each person) to come up from beach level and even easier if you bring extra cash (Euros) you can take a taxi from the main town center closer to the main beach directly to Casa Nilde. We were quoted 35 Euros cash for the taxi fare in August (high season).

Francesco and staff are terrific! Upon arrival he took the time to give us the lay of the land in the very unique village of Positano. We quickly felt like locals. Wr stayed 5 nights in the Family Room, and it was clean with a stunning view. We enjoyed a terrific breakfast each morning on our terrace.

Loved Casa Nilde. Communication with Luigi was timely and answered all my questions and concerns. When we arrived and during our stay Francesco and staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful! Always a smile and offer to help. Made reservations for us at restaurant last minute. Breakfast was delightful and tasty and the views incredible. I fell in love with Positano and Casa Nilde! We will be back!
