Ravello Art Hotel Marmorata

A beautiful hotel perched on a mountain edge—great food and a truly special experience! Good service and cleanliness. The downside was the distance from the city center; you rely on shuttles, and the schedule is limited. If you want a ride at other times using the hotel shuttle, you have to pay extra—though they did arrange a free pickup for us upon arrival, which was excellent, and the staff were very nice.

Hotel overlooking the sea, with exclusive access to the sea and a whirlpool pool, 2 restaurant areas and a truly fantastic breakfast, a very rich buffet and tables with a sea view, splendid atmosphere. The rooms are very beautiful, all with a sea view, quite spacious. Fantastic to eat and sleep with the sound of the waves. I recommend it to everyone, by the way in a strategic position between Minori, Maiori, Ravello, Atrani, and Amalfi, all reachable in a few minutes by car, or by public bus (so as not to clog up the very small roads of the coast even more). Well done, excellent example of hospitality. A note on the restaurant, a rich menu with remarkable combinations that are also different from the usual, but all prepared with extreme care.

We checked it on 9-13-26 and made our first contact with Francesco. He gave us a brief tour of the property and walked us to our room. I’ll break down this review in two areas, the room and customer service. The room was not entirely as seen on the hotel website. We were disappointed with the balcony which was completely enclosed aside from a small opening. We were envisioning an open balcony where we could sit and sunbathe. The chairs in the balcony were uncomfortable and the table top was not attached to the base. We moved the table and the top almost fell off. In the bathroom there was no conditioner and no shelf in the shower to place your shower essentials. As for the customer service, this is where the hotel excels, for the breakfast buffet all the staff were very attentive and friendly. The one staff member that stood out was Paolo (Restaurant Manager). He was amazing, everyday with a smile, welcoming and very attentive. From filling up our water canteens numerous times a day to bartending and handling any request. He made our dinners amazing and ensured we had the best table for dinner. We ate at L’Antica Cartiera Ristorante on our second night and the dining experience was perfect, we had a bottle of wine, Paccheri pasta with shrimp tartar and red snapper followed by a lemon cake, sorbet and crème lemoncello. The service was impressive so we decided to have our anniversary dinner at L’Antica Cartiera Ristorante . Had it not been for Paolo’s customer service our stay would not have been so memorable. Despite the issues noted regarding the room, I would recommend it to travelers to the Amalfi Coast.
