Hotel Flora

I don't even know where to start.... the sofas in the conversation area next to the breakfast room are all worn out, in the room we did not find the fridge that we would have been given for a fee, in the corridor the air conditioning was broken, they closed the kitchen and the spa department, the manager has rather... gruff ways... So I found an abandoned hotel. It's a shame because the facility is great and the location great.

Surely he has the price on his side: 90 euros per day with breakfast and use of the gym, swimming pool and spa (with thermal paths) is undoubtedly a low price for Ischia, especially if the hotel is in a strategic position, i.e. a few minutes from the beaches, the port and the heart of the town. But of course paying little has its own reason. Staying at Flora means living every moment between corridors and decrepit rooms, without a minimum of decadent aesthetics: time has stopped in the 1960s, evidently, starting with the air conditioners that do not work and the conditions of the walls and bathrooms. And it's a shame because there is attention to the customer: the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. Breakfast, included, is plentiful but only if you go to the opening, otherwise much of the food ends and is not fed. The quality is average, with a large presence of sweets and cakes.

I stayed at this hotel on August 27 for a night with a group of friends. The rooms were clean and very nice, the staff was very kind and equally helpful. We found a large breakfast. The hotel is not far from the beaches and the port so it was perfectly located for easy walking. We will definitely be back.. I recommend choosing this hotel for your stay in Ischia.
