Bougainvillea Relais

What a lovely place to stay, room was lovely and very up to date with a computerised lighting and shutter system, comfortable bed, and very good amenities in the room. Bathroom was very clean and excellent lighting. Maria is a great hostess and even though we were delayed, she still attended to us too ensure we entered the property safely without and hiccups.. the morning breakfast ( very tasty pastries and fruit ) was served to us on the balcony by a wonderful guy who was very polite and friendly too.. excellent hospitality . Location is great and has an amazing restaurant literally across the road and a 5 min walk to the main square. Maria also organised a trip to capri and we must say she has put time and energy to find very good company that provided us with an unforgettable experience.. excellent value and have recommended friends and family if they ever visit the area.

Marie Teresa’s communication and responsiveness was second to none. She is a fountain of knowledge about Sorrento and helped with organising an airport transfer, some Amalfi trips and excellent restaurant & rooftop bar recommendations to watch the sunset. Location to train station is 5 mins. Piazza Tasso is 10 mins walk. Our apartment room with doors closed was quiet. The relais location is on the outskirt of the town on a very busy & noisy road. A simple but fresh breakfast was served daily to our room. The room service was excellent and the apartment was spotless. Bed and pillows were so comfy. We were out sightseeing everyday so the Relais room only was ideal for us. However, if you prefer hotel facilities, this is not the stay for you, although there is an option to pay for pool access in a nearby hotel if you want to relax!

Forget about anonymous check-ins with roadside lockboxes. Mrs. Maria Teresa welcomes you as if you were at home. After showing the room, she dwells on every detail of Sorrento and the entire coast. Details that proved to be very useful. The rooms are modern, spacious, and super quiet. Breakfast in the morning is in the room and at the time you prefer. The same family has a historic bar restaurant right in the center. Because Maria Teresa's grandfather was the first ice cream maker in Sorrento.
