Gocce Di Capri

Misleading accommodation description – booked through VakantieDiscounter NL. My wife, our respective elderly mothers, and I booked an apartment at Gocce di Capri through VakantieDiscounter based on the description of a "two-room apartment." We reasonably understood this to mean two separate bedrooms. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that the second "room" was actually the combined living room and kitchen, meaning my wife and I had to sleep on a sofa bed (which was uncomfortable) while our elderly mothers had to share a double bed. Before travelling, we had specifically been told that the apartment would have a double bed for us and two single beds for our mothers. Although apartments with this layout do exist at Gocce di Capri, VakantieDiscounter booked us into one that did not match what had been described, and the hotel was unwilling to move us to suitable accommodation. I want to make it clear that most of the staff and the cleaning team at Gocce di Capri were excellent—friendly, helpful, and hardworking. Unfortunately, the manager was not accommodating, despite the obvious mismatch between what had been promised and what we received. Because of this experience, I will never book through VakantieDiscounter again. And despite the wonderful staff, I would also not return to Gocce di Capri. Additional note, following VakantieDiscounter's response to this complaint, advising us that we should have contacted them on the day of our arrival: We did contact VakantieDiscounter and its local affiliates on the day of our arrival, and their respective representatives did nothing to help us resolve the situation. The fact that you have no record of these conversations says a great deal about VakantieDiscounter's internal organisation and record-keeping, rather than what actually happened.

Writing this now we are home, feel sad that I had to leave. Already looking at booking again. As soon as we arrived we were met with the views. All day you get to see the beautiful views and then at night time you get to see the sun set. The bar is perfect and drinks are always beautifully presented, Restaurant serves AMAZING food. My boys said this is the best holiday yet. I will miss the sun set tonight :( Thankyou so much for having us! Till next time xx

Quiet and well-maintained location. Excellent services with welcoming, polite staff who are always available to guests. The hotel offers various services for guests (ask at the reception). The restaurant service within the facility is very convenient, with a menu of typical local dishes and a wide selection of wines, including some local gems. I conclude with.....A BREATHTAKING VIEW of Capri (it feels like you can touch it) and the entire Gulf of Naples.
