Hotel Parco Vesevus

I booked this hotel for me, my wife and our daughter as a nice place to stay whilst we explored the area. We were expecting it to be very hot so I specifically chose this hotel because it looked like it had a great pool. When we arrived I asked about the pool and was told that it was closed as there was a problem with the filter. The guy suggested that it was a recent thing but it was green and looked like it hadn't been working for a while. It was so disappointing that there was no pool. We had all been looking forward to a dip to cool off. When I asked about dinner I was told that there was no restaurant. I asked if there was anywhere nearby that we could walk to as I wanted to have a glass or two of wine with dinner and was told by the guy at the hotel that it was OK to have some drinks and drive! I told the guy we wouldn't be staying for the next night as planned and all he said was "for me it is no problem". When I requested a refund as we had prepaid; he said that he would not refund us but we had to talk with Expedia. We had booked through Hotels.com and I believe they are still trying to get it sorted. The breakfast was terrible and the wifi did not work either. I would recommend giving this place a miss.
