Excellent location just off main square, easy to walk everywhere. Staff were fine but insisted you wait until 3pm to get room (it was 2:15), which is always annoying. Modern well equipped room, large with large bathroom with standup shower, lovely terrace with afternoon sun. Standard buffet breakfast was fine Overall hotel in great location, very nice room with fabulous terrace, recommended

The location is excellent for walking around the city. The rooms are unique with a sort of hallway between the bathroom and the bedroom. The staff is kind and the breakfast room is spacious with the food tables spread out evenly. Only downside: the city tax, but that does not depend on the hotel...

Location, location, location! At this hotel, you are half a block from the main square in Bologna. Everything is within a short walk, including more restaurants than most cities, upscale clothing stores, a pharmacy, and historical sights. I chose the Superior room, and it had plenty of space for us and our luggage. If you are expecting Hilton-level gold fixtures—forget it. But the beds were comfy, the room clean, and everything was in good taste. True, the decor isn’t UPPER scale American Chain Hotel perfection, but darn close. It is not shabby, but very nice. Breakfast was good, with loads of desserts/pastries, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, cold cut meats, cereal and fruits. Coffee was brought to you by kind staffers. If you want ultra-fancy, go elsewhere. But, if you want a very good room, good breakfast, and a great location, stay here. You will pay for the location, as it is a bit on the pricier side.
