We stayed at Hotel Internazionale for two nights in June and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the heart of Bologna’s historic centre, with all the main attractions within easy walking distance. For guests travelling with a dog, the nearby park is an added bonus. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast offered a great selection of fresh and tasty food, making for a perfect start to the day. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary chilled fruit-infused water available at reception throughout the day. It was especially appreciated during the hot summer weather. The only small suggestion for improvement concerns sustainability. The water dispenser was accompanied by disposable plastic cups. Replacing them with reusable or recyclable alternatives would better reflect the quality of the hotel and its commitment to the environment. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend Hotel Internazionale to anyone visiting Bologna

Very happy with our experience in this hotel. Staff friendly and efficient, spacious clean room with a comfortable bed. Quiet at night even with being next to street. Great variety of foods for breakfast, with plenty of staff topping everything up constantly.

I was visiting Bologna for three nights on a mini break with friends and selected this hotel primarily because of its central location. I had reserved a single room on a bed and breakfast tariff . We arrived by taxi from the airport . Access to the hotel is not easy as the cities tramway system is currently being installed throughout the city so a lot of roadworks to deal with. We were given a warm reception from staff and check in was swift allowing us to quickly get our rooms and then find a local restaurant. The whole hotel is quite old fashioned and we did notice things like thread bare carpets however the room was clean and kitted out as you would expect. Kettle minibar hair drier toiletries etc. My room was located on the third floor and had a bath with over head shower as well as a bidet . The air con worked reasonably well given the extreme weather conditions and room service changed my towels every day. The bed was comfortable and I slept well during my stay not experiencing street noise as other reports have suggested. Perhaps this was due to the construction work. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet service and provided most items I would expect for a hotel of this standard. I did not experience any shortages and there was plenty of waiters to hand. The hotel is located very well for trains and buses and is also within walking range for the cities sightseeing points . It also has an abundance of restaurants about and the ones we experienced were all great value. The checkout time of 12 noon is generous and allows some late sightseeing or shopping before departure. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a mini break stay.
