A night to attend a concert. Terrible choice…. we opted for an easy overnight stay, without pretensions, but we found ourselves in an old room with wave-patterned carpet, a noisy fan, and it was sweltering hot, a one-meter bathroom where you could hardly move. The hallways with crumbling walls with holes from leaks. The price solely based on the good location of the hotel. Luxury is not sought, but even a minimal yet decent decor would suffice.

The hotel is very old and poorly maintained. The carpet is all stained and full of dust, the lounge in the lobby has worn cushions, many of the rooms do not have air conditioning, and there is a terrible smell of old and used. The bedspreads must be at least 70/80 years old, the bathrooms are from the early 1900s, and some toilets are leaking. To say the breakfast was subpar is an understatement. The only truly positive note is the lady at the Reception, Antonella, always smiling, friendly, kind, and capable of addressing complaints and trying to resolve them. She assigned me the suite after I had a terrible room, the suite where Charlie Chaplin slept, which is still as he left it!! A bit more spacious and with a cooling unit, but really old, especially the bathroom. A hotel that needs to be closed and renovated
