Went with 2 friends here last week. Completely based on the many good reviews on vakantiediscounter. A 9.3! Wow. High expectations. However, I fear this figure is reversed. Shouldn't this be a 3.9 instead? You arrive with your rental car because there is no transfer. Parking garage? This will indeed be charged to you for 20 euros per day, while you can park for free a street away, it turns out later. Upon arrival at the hotel, the manager (who later turns out) offers everyone a room upgrade. That is not an upgrade, however. Very old-fashioned unatmospheric room. Aircon? Not present. A lot of mold around the air vents. Hairdryer, broken. Shutter, broken. Broken is certainly the theme of this holiday and this hotel. The hotel is in a completely dead neighborhood. Many vacant buildings. Completely past glory. Much of the breakfast is old and hard. Don't look at the lights on the ceiling while eating. Then your appetite will perish. The Jacuzzi was broken for half the holiday. Pool bar and coffee bar is not there. Childcare? There isn't. Wellness? Closed. Luckily I had good company with me because otherwise it would have been home with screeching tires. Never never not the 9.3 value.

We were in Milano Marittima for a few days, I must say that at Hotel Sorriso we felt fantastic right from the start, the property is very close to the sea and the center. We were welcomed very well at the reception and also by Ciro, a very polite person who is always available to find any solution to potential problems (we didn't have any), the staff is kind, friendly, and always available; I was struck by their smiles and positivity.
Rooms, it's true, the furniture is a bit dated, but the property is very beautiful, the outdoor pool is gorgeous, well-maintained, and clean.
On the last day, they allowed us to use the pool for a few more hours even though we had checked out while waiting for our departure, something we appreciated very much and for which we are grateful.
What can I say, certainly one of the first hotels we will contact if we were to return to Milano Marittima.
Great job and congratulations!

The hotel is located a stone's throw from the seafront. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is beautiful, as are the pool and the outdoor hot tub. There is no area for children and the bar is deserted in the evening. On the booking.com website, evening entertainment and a kids' club are indicated, but in reality, they do not exist; they only had a piano bar one evening after dinner. Breakfast, on the other hand, is at the level of a 2-star hotel, very poor and with poorly trained staff. I am sorry, but a 4-star hotel should have much more.
