My husband, our daughter – who has been living in London for 11 years and, like us, travels a lot for work – and I chose the Hotel Marittimo to celebrate a very important moment in our lives: the negative outcome of a tumor board. After months of tension, we needed to find serenity, relax, and simply feel good. And the Hotel Marittimo managed to do much more than that. It is not just a beautiful hotel: it is a place that evokes emotions. It does so through its signature scent, color palette, furnishings, and atmosphere, which bring to mind the most beautiful travels, from Bali to Vietnam, to Saint-Tropez. It is one of those places where you immediately feel at home, welcomed and pampered. We are people used to traveling and staying in hotels all over the world, and for this reason, we appreciated the quality of the experience: authentic, contemporary, and never ostentatious. The staff smiles, listens, anticipates needs naturally, and every detail is designed to provide well-being, relaxation, and emotion. There is a genuine care for the guest, which is increasingly rare today. I recommend this hotel to those who love to travel and wish to continue enriching their travel experience even during a stay in Italy, but also to those who have never traveled and want to discover what contemporary hospitality truly means: intelligent, emotional, and capable of transforming the simple act of 'being away from home' into an experience.
