A restaurant with excellent local cuisine. Finally, excellent gnocco fritto (which they call pinzino here) even outside of Modena/Bologna. The gentleman who takes the orders and the girl who served us at the table were kind, polite, Professional. Recommended!

We stayed at the Principessa Pio in Ferrara, and the overall experience was not negative; however, it did not fully convince us. The structure is nice and characteristic: just a few steps from the center but immersed in greenery, quiet and well-maintained, it represents a relaxing context (after all, it borders the charterhouse and the Jewish cemetery), ideal for stepping away from the city's pace. The outdoor spaces also create a particular and pleasant atmosphere. The room was in line with the style of the structure, but overall it did not particularly impress us: good cleanliness but comfort could be improved; the television was too small and the bathroom a bit cramped and poorly lit. There is nothing to say about the staff, who we found to be available and friendly. We did not have the opportunity to try the restaurant, so we cannot comment on the culinary aspect. Breakfast lacked particular spirit. Overall, the quality-price ratio is average, but considering the location and the expectations generated, we would have expected a better experience.

We had dinner in this restaurant in the countryside. Excellent dishes, both meat and pasta, zucchini meatballs (starter) spectacular. Great choice of wines,. Attentive, friendly and experienced waiter. Prices more than adequate compared to the high Quality of food. Absolutely to recommend.
