A magical experience, with a cozy room, within a medieval village and adjoining the castle. It really allows you to disconnect, with wonderful views. In addition friendly and attentive attention from the staff, with an exquisite breakfast on the terrace. Unfortunately, it has few nearby attractions, apart from the castle that can be quickly toured and the proscciuto tasting option. They no longer have the option to rent bikes to ride that are described. The adjoining restaurant that has received such good reviews we could not enter because we had no reservation (even though they had many empty tables and we had been informed that it was not necessary). Parking was chaotic, although they have reserved parking, visitors to the castle and restaurant occupy it irresponsibly until late at night, having to be constantly checking to properly park the car since the other option is to leave it behind the castle (with the sign warning of theft) or under the hill (impossible with luggage).

We spend one night there after a nice exhibition at the Magnani Rocca foundation. Intimate village, cute, alive and livable. Right preview of the visit to the beautiful castle that we will do the next morning. Perfect room, perfect welcome. Breakfast not encyclopedic but adequate and above all good. The only small drawback, the kitsch of a wall made of false stone and real plastic ... one last tip, the "shop" of the structure can feed you with cured meats and cheeses and excellent territory, with pies more than good and allows you to accompany everything with bottles that I would recommend. And with a discount as guests.

Room very cozy and fragrant, although a little 'small; simple breakfast, but great; very kind staff. It is located within the tiny village of Torrechiara, a few meters from the castle. For those staying here, there is a discount on the products sold in the shop opposite, which offers both zero-km food, as well as cold cuts and cheese boards and vegetable cakes, which we enjoyed. The price is not low, but I would still recommend this property. If I happen to be in the area again, I will definitely stop there.
