Grand Hotel Bologna

Very large structure and with ample parking available. It has certainly been modernized (there is no trace of the carpet anymore), but there is still much to do to improve it permanently. The soundproofing is revisable, as is the decor, a little too agé. Beautiful lobby, spacious and welcoming. Not particularly comfortable beds or pillows. To review the mini-bar: completely empty. Excellent cuisine: varied and quite tasty breakfast (especially eggs and bacon); the restaurant is also valid. Very helpful staff

My experience was one of the most terrible I have ever had. Many rooms do not have a handle on the outside and under the doors there quietly passes a hand. The bathroom door does not close and the shower doors are unsafe, the fan is non-existent. When you lie down on the bed you feel like sinking into Dante Alighieri's Inferno and the sheets were covered with a layer of dust. The room has a window overlooking a communal terrace, where, until late, there is staff smuggling and you hear hallucinatory noises. The television was not connected and to turn it on you have to touch cables that give the shock, really very dangerous. I'm not sure if the dinner was edible, we were served pasta with ambiguous dressing and sauce with a little steak, not to mention panna cotta that had strange lumps and no flavor. Finally, DO NOT GO!!

I stayed 3 days and I must say that from the photos I expected much more. The photos are either fake or someone was paid to put them in. The food full of hair, grumpy and inattentive staff, 0 security, cold water shower, 1980 phone (seriously) and dirty rooms, especially the beds.
