Agriturismo Ca' de' Gatti

I came to this farmhouse for a friend's birthday, I don't think I will return, the service left something to be desired with excessive wait times for drinks as well that the food, completely incapable of managing the organization and satisfying the customers, a shame because the farmhouse is in a beautiful location

We stayed on Sunday with friends with two little girls. At the time of Reservation we asked if we could use the pool having two girls and they tell us that they did not accept children under 13 because they would disturb the guests. We are told that there is a set menu of 30 euros per person excluding drinking. We arrive there and find a single menu made of food with only one choice option, which was not even worth 10 euros: appetizer with cherry tomatoes in salad and a slice of toasted bread, penne with eggplant, roast chicken (which tasted rancid!) with potatoes and a vanilla pudding with a mint dye on top. Something I would have cooked better at home. We took only one bottle of wine, water and 3 spritz (there were 6 adults and 2 girls), all for 47 euros each!!!! Something you wouldn't believe. Not to finish since the girls wanted to swim in the pool (and there were other girls who did) we asked if they could access only the girls and they asked us at 3 in the afternoon another 10 euros!!! things out of the ordinary, to draw money to those who come once and then never come back.

It was me and my partner on September 18th to celebrate his birthday! The place is a fairytale and the view even more... splendid! The very kind owners opened their whirlpool for us even though it wasn't a nice day so we took a bath and relaxed. In the evening, after an aperitif outside in the garden (their Sangiovese was excellent), we had dinner there. Excellent and homemade food. Their crepes and roast veal are delicious. Let's not talk about dessert!!! Too bad we couldn't stay and sleep there.... we'll do it again! Thanks for a wonderful day!!
