A truly disheartening experience, it felt like being in one of those shows like "Kitchen Nightmares"! Old environment, furnished as best as possible, very cramped bathroom even for a small person, dirty shower walls, black mold between the tiles. At least the sheets and towels were clean, staff reasonably welcoming and prepared in the morning. I was prevented from entering the breakfast room with my dog, staff who tried to be kind but were clearly embarrassed by the situation of the bar full of dirty trays from previous breakfasts and bottles piled up in plain sight on top of decaying and dirty furniture. Elevator with walls full of graffiti. I am attaching photos. PS: It's fine that one wants to save money, but honestly, a three-star rating seems like too much for that situation!

Hotel Roma We stayed here for a few nights before going on a cruise from Ravenna Port. The hotels decor is dated and run down. The staff on reception were not very informative at check in but perhaps the language barrier didn’t help. They have maps of Ravenna if you ask. Lift was creaky. Location was okay. Across the road was a pharmacy. 5minute walk to the bus and train station and 10-15minute walk to the main town where the shops and pubs were. Family room was an okay size. A double bed then 2 single beds separate. Bathroom with shower. A tele but no fridge. Room was a bit rough, tap in the sink was hanging off. Breakfast included was continental and had more than enough options. The hotel did the job for what we needed. Enjoyed exploring Ravenna from here so was a good base for that. And a cheap pit stop if you’re getting a cruise from the terminal.

A terrible night in a hotel to forget. Dirty, old, uncomfortable. To be avoided!
