Hotel Mauritius

I give one negative star regarding the restaurant; it felt like being inside a sauna, you sweated a lot and I couldn't wait to leave, the food was often repetitive, the same thing served the next day with a different recipe, it can raise some doubts, I had stomach problems for two days. If you arrived late to the dining room, you found some dishes were out, perhaps the best ones; it is not nice nor hygienic to serve french fries with your hands. In the land of Parmesan, tortellini, and ravioli, serving generic industrial products is sad. The room was fine except for the air conditioner, which was very dirty. Positive note: the staff was very kind, however.

It is the second consecutive year that we have chosen Hotel Mauritius for our July vacations, thanks to the whole staff for pampering us as always, for making us gain weight with the dishes of the legendary chef Julian! A warm hug to our trusted waiter Stefano, to Gianluca and Giuli for the delicious eggs and bacon toast, to Graziella, the undisputed super secretary, to Genni the handyman, to grandparents Maria and Claudio, and to the entire hotel staff!
