Hotel Montecarlo

We spent 2 nights, the room was not very large, it could use a general refresh, but what matters is the cleanliness. Pool is not big but it always comes in handy on hot days. Fairly central location and 20 meters from the sea. Abundant breakfast and a good balance between sweet and savory. Private parking available for a fee and by reservation. Good value for money.

We spent 2 nights in this guesthouse renovated into a “boutique” hotel. It is not enough to put a few trinkets here and there and give a coat of blue paint to the bathroom ceiling to be a hotel worthy of 3 stars and €100 per night. Very poor breakfast with marble-hard pastries and the savory options finished by 8:30 on Saturday. The shower head that sprayed into the sky and a curtain that wraps around you. Very little human interaction (simply a “everything okay?” at greeting...) and the little that there was, was very far from the warmth of Romagna. End-of-season fatigue is understandable, but everything else is unjustifiable.

good value for money, kind staff, abundant and satisfying breakfast, the only downside is that some rooms are a bit old but nothing serious
