Hotel Villa Mare

Excellent quality hotel with attention to detail, kind and helpful staff, last but not least, location a stone's throw from the center; sweet and savory breakfast, well-prepared and varied. Highly recommended.

Booked 2 nights. Nothing to criticize. It fully deserves its 3 superior stars. Breakfast adequate for my tastes. Kindness and courtesy of the reception staff worth noting. Standard room of adequate size and bathroom with a window, with everything necessary and a large shower. Strategic location 100 meters from the sea and 20 from Via Dante. Pool on the 5th floor with a view that few hotels can offer. A nice discovery at an absolutely honest price. I recommend it to those who want to enjoy Riccione while spending the right amount!

Hotel is in a good location on Viale Dante, close to the beach. Excellent bathroom 85. Unfortunately for us, the experience was disappointing. We chose it over another one because of the services it offered and included in the quote, only to discover that they were not true. The pool bar for having an aperitif at sunset was not working due to a lack of staff (said by a cleaning person we asked), the hydromassages in the pool were not working, nor was the cervical massage, in addition to the fact that it was a bit dirty. The rental bikes were not there, and another customer also complained a lot (it seems they removed them because the ones present needed maintenance). Breakfast was okay and dinner was good, but in a very chaotic and noisy place. The serious problem was the lack of sleep caused by the pool cleaning robot being operated during the night hours. We had the room right under the pool. We informed the reception about the problem and they had proposed a room change, but then we had reached an agreement that the robot would run from 8 PM to midnight or from 7 in the morning... too bad they then turned it on at 4 in the morning. Faced with yet another complaint, the girl at the reception replied rudely, "I had proposed a room change to you"... no ma'am, you took us for a ride, because if you then propose an agreement on the robot's operating hours and we accept it and you do not respect the agreements, I feel taken for a ride as a customer. From that moment on, she never spoke to us or greeted us again. That is fine, I will not make a problem out of it. I would instead like to thank the other gentleman at the reception during the day with glasses, who was very kind, who always gave honest answers, and since he has been there, we have not had any more problems. The room itself needs some modernization (paint on the walls and replacement of the shower enclosure, stained bedspread) but it was cleaned well. Not soundproofed at all (even the door lets light through at night because it does not fit well). That said, the lack of sleep at night ruined our vacation a bit, especially the mockery and arrogance of the receptionist. We saw her arguing with many other customers. Furthermore, regarding the robot problem, she had replied to me, "never had problems with other customers." That is not true! We met the lady in the room next door who had made the same complaint. The matter stopped when I recorded the nighttime noise, saying that I would use it as evidence.
