Hotel Galileo

We stayed for four days at this hotel with friends and two children. Parking is available for a fee of 10 euros per day and is located about 1 km from the hotel. A shuttle is available on the day of arrival and departure, but in our case, only for 2 people, without luggage. Our room was very, very small and dated, without even enough space to open a suitcase. The bathroom, also quite dilapidated, has a mini shower carved into a small niche, closed off with a small sliding plastic door. Every time we showered, the bathroom was a lake of water. The meals are embarrassing!! It has never happened to us on the Romagna Riviera to get up from the table hungry. Breakfast, among all the meals, is "the least bad," but not worthy of a three-star hotel. Having chosen half-board, fortunately we never had lunch there. Dinner consists of a first course and a second course chosen from two options, plus a "dessert." Never seen a 3-star hotel before without even an appetizer or a buffet with fruit and vegetables. The food is of terrible quality. The side dishes were scarce and without any seasoning. We didn't even see the supposed "Neapolitan cuisine" with a telescope. We never even saw fresh bread either. Neither wine nor soft drinks are provided with meals, only water. The staff is the only positive aspect. Always very kind, smiling, and helpful. They deserve our compliments! Everything else, however, definitely needs to be improved. I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

To be avoided, small dated room, closet with a broken door, small bathroom without a window, worn and dilapidated faucets, old and holey sheets and tablecloths, let's not even talk about the kitchen, they promise local and Neapolitan cuisine with poor results, side dishes of boiled and unseasoned potatoes, green beans, and zucchini, portion sizes meager and embarrassing

Negative experience. Small, cramped, and very spartan quadruple room, without a minibar, mirror, chair, desk, or coat rack. Bathroom (with a tiny window) super dated, small with a shower carved into a niche without a shower tray but only a miserable curtain; the highlight was the mirror, round, hung with a piece of wire; furthermore, there was a smell of sewage; to finish, a small balcony with a chair, a small drying rack, a rope, and glass panes opaque with dirt. Breakfast with mini croissants strictly defrosted in the microwave, sandwiches ditto, hazelnut cream instead of Nutella, fruit nonexistent or poor, other things barely sufficient. Lunch and dinner the same story; they use poor quality and frozen products, with miserable portions. I will close by saying that of Neapolitan cuisine, something they wrote about, very little was seen, except for pasta and beans with mussels, only that instead of mixed pasta or tubetti there were rigate mezze maniche. Another strong dish of Neapolitan cuisine, sausages with baked potatoes, only that a tiny sausage was served at the table with three duchess potato shapes as big as a 2 euro coin. One evening I asked for fruit instead of dessert (always and only pudding), I was told that they did not have fruit. Kind and helpful staff.
