Hotel Playa

We stayed for a week with a half-board package and had a great time. Daily cleaning was okay; we coordinated with them ourselves, and we changed our towels every day. The dinner was excellent, and the buffet was generous. The sweet and savory breakfast buffet was superb, with coffee or cappuccino available upon request just like at a café. We are a family with a dog (Byron); the four-legged friend also appreciates the hospitality and the stay, with the owner being very affectionate. I would recommend it to my friends.

We booked a vacation based on the misleading advertising on the website... dilapidated facility, non-existent room cleaning, scarce and mediocre food. The dining room is extremely cramped and lacks air conditioning; we ate on the veranda, dodging a thunderstorm by a few minutes, and I wonder... what if it had rained a few minutes earlier?!?! Fruit placed on the table right from the start (only grapes). I asked for an alternative due to health issues and was given an apple that had perhaps been in the fridge for a month (inedible), and I do not want to dwell on it further. Stay away.

We spent 4 days at the Hotel Playa with our dog Sean! It was a mini vacation but everything went well. Very kind and friendly staff.. breakfast and meals are plentiful, dog-friendly policy is top-notch!!! What can I say? Must do it again!! Thank you! Luciana Paolo and their Sean ❤️
