I stayed in the building across from the hotel, the existence of which I was unaware of! Well-maintained property, simple furnishings "Not new or modern as per reviews" but clean and tidy. To have breakfast, you have to go to the hotel across the street "An unbearable thing". Rating 10 to all the staff; even the housekeeping staff is in uniform. We did not enjoy staying at another property without our knowledge, which has nothing "Superior" about it. Having to leave the property for breakfast. The total and advance payment that was communicated to us only 3 days before arrival is, in our opinion, synonymous with greed and bad faith. The absence of bicycles "We already knew that". I do not know what the interiors of the Hotel Monica are like because, as already written, I stayed in another property. Air conditioning is very old and insufficient; with two or three people, you have to suffer the heat. If we had known sooner, we would not have booked. However, it is a good hotel, but the "Superior" designation is excessive.
