Villa Livia

On 20.7. 2019 began a holiday for our large family of 6 from Czech in Hotel Villa Livia. I’d like to thank an owner for taking such a great care of us. Immediately after our arrival he took a care of us and at 10 o’clock we had an opportunity to move into our rooms. For Breakfast we had bunch of sweet and salty foods to choose from. Also the staff kept on refilling empty plates. Dinner had 3 parts - 1. Buffet, 2. Two courses (for each course there were 3 foods to choose from), 3. Dessert (cupcakes, fruit...). Also big thanks belongs to charladies for a great job done. On the day when we had to leave, we still could stay on reception of hotel and still could use services of hotel Sole Blu such as swimming in a pool on the rooftop. The stay was amazing, thanks for a great holiday.

terrible, terrible bathroom - I really felt like crying when I first saw it. Not only it was old, but also dirty. Rooms were O.K., quite clean, with old furniture. Only plus was a balcony - but only because we were lucky to have a room in which there was a private balcony. But it was really cheap, food was good and the beaches of Rimini are beautiful. Also possible to get to Bologne and Pisa by train quite easily and fast, we even went to Florence, but that was about 3 hours away. There is no receptionist at reception desk - only at nearby Sole Blu hotel - and the hotel is not locked at night!! So all the time I was worried about my stuff in the room!

Services of the reception were terrible, they were unable to solve the problems of foreigners. They just talked to native Italians. When we asked where the nearest exchange bureau is, we have been given login and password to the Internet to find it ourselves. Portions were small, the dinner took even 1h and 15 minutes. The meals were always the same, without any invention. Chambermaids were very kind, the did the best, room and bathroom were always cleaned well. But the bathroom was in terrible state - equipment old fashion and functionless, rusty shower... Beach service very good - we have payed 75 euro for beach service (2 deckchairs and one parasol) for 6 days in July 2011. Price can be different, in August it is more expensive because of holiday of most Italians. Rimini as a city was charming.
