Albergo Aurora

We stayed at this hotel for one night, while passing through to Trieste. Excellent welcome, hotel recently renovated, rooms appropriate for the level of the property. Excellent and rich breakfast, better than other hotels of the same level, the price is appropriate for the stay. The property is a bit tucked away from the main road, so the area is quiet and very close to Duino Castle. The only "flaw," for motorcyclists, is the gravel parking lot (but they invited us to park in a more stable area). There are also other parking lots nearby. They informed us that the surface will be redone shortly, with the removal of the gravel. Recommended.

I stayed at the Hotel Aurora during a long photography weekend. The place is in a truly excellent location, quiet and convenient, even though it is very close to the highway. The private parking is priceless (considering that in these areas you can't even park by freeze-drying the car!). The rooms are nice and well-kept, clean. The staff is extremely kind. In my opinion, the only thing that can be said is that it is a bit expensive. Perhaps in line with the others, but expensive nonetheless.

Recently renovated hotel located a few steps from the Rilke trail and the two castles of Duino. Very kind and helpful staff, impeccable cleaning of common areas, spotless new room, very quiet and equipped with every comfort (fridge, kettle, safe, hairdryer, perfect mattress, daily towel change), breakfast with homemade cakes and fresh fruit salad, kind and considerate welcome, parking in front of the hotel. In short: everything perfect. If I have to find a fault at all costs, in the bathroom I would have liked a few more hooks to hang towels on. I’ll try to get over it 😉
