Hotel Lido Garda

Experience only as a beach club, not a hotel. The location and the beach club itself are beautiful; the bar's sea-view terrace is also decent. The big problem is the terrible setup of everything, starting with the lifeguard service: huge and extremely strict restrictions on where you can be in the water; you can only stay in very shallow water and right next to other people, and if you move away even a little bit into areas that are still safe, you get called out a thousand times as if you were committing a crime. Even though my brother and I had followed the lifeguard's instructions, considering them senseless but following them (meanwhile there were so many people, probably friends of theirs, who had moved very far away even into the theoretically prohibited areas and were not called out), as soon as I get out of the water, this guy comes up all puffed up in front of people to scold me with a pathetic scene and say, "Hey, I called you a thousand times, you have to listen to me when I whistle, don't pretend you don't hear me, etc. etc." (but we had listened to what he told us, making us, among other things, stay in very shallow water and stuck to other people, ruining our experience in the water). From the discussion, I exclude the other young, blond lifeguard with a beard who, on the other hand, was friendly and easygoing when he gave us the umbrella. The rest is also terrible. It lacks food service; there is only a deli with forced poke bowls and sandwiches; water is not sold, and there is only tap water with which you can only fill individual cups, for which you have to wait in line. Absolutely zero slushies/shaved ice, barely any ice cream, a few decent cocktails but nothing special. And there is only one tiny bathroom for which you have to wait in a huge line. Negative experience; only the location and the beach club itself are saved, but I absolutely do not recommend this establishment. 1/5

There is nothing to say about the hotel. But on the bar of the lido particularly an employee was a shameful experience. I asked for a foamed coffee at the glass I was answered “I don’t even know how caxx is done “I very kindly told him that it is done quietly at home. But she even worse told me “do it at home”. The ultimate in crap. But how do you caxx make someone like that work? And then to a bar. Too bad because it is good both in the hotel and on the beach. But I'm definitely never going to get another candy at the beach bar again.

We stayed 4 nights in this great hotel by the sea, what about everything perfect, always helpful and very kind staff, we had full board all very good and above all I was guaranteed the meal apart specifically for my son. Very quiet and clean room, the 4 stars out of 5 are for the structure itself a bit 'dated but otherwise highly recommend!
