Hotel Mediterraneo

I arrived the night before boarding a cruise ship - it is used by companies to accommodate crew about to begin seafarers contracts. The man on reception on arrival just after midnight was incredibly rude. The lady on reception and the younger lady on breakfast duty the following morning were however very much more pleasant - both friendly and polite. The room - fair. Clean and tidy. Comfy bed. No English or French (or non-Italian) TV channels. Very noisy AC and no USB points for charging phones etc - the hotel is not modern. Pleasant, if low-tech and you avoid the man on reception!

I spent a week in this splendid hotel and I had a wonderful time!! The food is exceptional.. the Abruzzese evening takes place on Thursday night with Abruzzese specialties, then at 10 o'clock by the pool, arrosticini for everyone!! The entertainment staff are very good; I would like to list them all but there are so many!! They are kind, polite, and make each of us feel special. A thank you for his availability and competence to the manager Massimo, who is always present and on the front line. Thanks a lot to all the staff. Thanks to Fabiano, the village manager. Very good; I have rambled on, but it is necessary.

Nice hotel that is very close to the train station. Bathroom needs a lot of work. Mold, cigarette smoke smell and tea towels for hand and wash cloths. leaky shower. But the room itself was freshly redone. Nice beds and a giant window that opened on either end. Great to hear the sea. We didn't have the breakfast included. Four of us in the room and we all had space.
