Giving a second chance was the right choice. Anyone reading this review will surely notice that months ago I wrote a very harsh one about the New Year's Eve dinner. After that review, we confronted each other privately. At first, the dialogue was not easy, but in the end, the management decided to offer us a dinner for two to show us that the experience we had on New Year's Eve did not represent their standard. On Saturday, June 27, we returned with expectations practically at zero. INSTEAD, IT WAS EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE! We were welcomed by a maître (or dining room manager) named Francesco, whose professionalism and passion are truly rare. From the very first moment, he made us feel like guests and not just ordinary customers. He welcomed us with a glass of champagne, escorted us to our table, enthusiastically and knowledgeably explained each dish, even managing to make us want to try courses we initially would not have chosen. And thank goodness we trusted him. Every dish was a delightful discovery: high-quality ingredients, balanced flavors, elegant presentations, and attention to the smallest details. A cuisine that finally does justice to a location of this caliber. The entire experience was impeccable. Two hours (which flew by) spent among pampering, attentiveness, smiles, and a professionalism that is not at all taken for granted today. I believe that everyone can make mistakes in life. The difference is made by those who have the courage to face it, listen to an unhappy customer, and do their best to make amends. And this is what Villa Tuscolana did. For this reason, I feel the duty to publicly acknowledge the commitment they have shown. It would have been easy to ignore a negative review; they chose to regain a customer's trust instead. And they succeeded. This time, the rating can only be the highest. We will return, this time not with the hope of being proven wrong, but with the pleasure of reliving a wonderful experience. Charming seventeenth-century villa in the Roman hills with a breathtaking view. Unforgettable sunsets. Modest room but just the right size for a weekend stay. Good breakfast served in a wonderful room with tables also outside. Recommended solution for those who want to visit the hills and very close to Frascati.

An extraordinary villa that would be worth visiting just for the corridors and the frescoes, transformed into a hotel that, however, suffers a bit from the effects of time... somewhat old rooms and more than decent spaces, excellent restaurant, and breathtaking views; everything seems to be suspended in time, as if it could close at any moment... good price-quality ratio, very kind staff, and a pool that is just sufficient... but a fabulous location; in short, I would return.
