Aurora Hotel Sperlonga

This was our fourth visit to the Aurora Hotel in Sperlonga. We keep going back because it is such a beautiful, well kept family run hotel with friendly helpful staff. It is in a wonderful location right on the beach with a perfect view of the old hilltop town. We love the shady garden, the sun terrace, the beach umbrellas and its position with plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from. We will be back.

Warm welcome! Everyone wants to make your life pleasant! Everything is welcoming, the hotel, the garden, the solarium, and obviously the dream beach! Everything is spotless, everything shines. We say buongiorno to each other and we feel good. Breakfast on the terrace is unique! The aperitif for the sunset is wonderful. Also well located at the foot of the historic center and Gaeta. Every little corner has been designed with great taste. Free parking! A lot of sadness on the day of departure when the owners and staff come to say goodbye! I still cannot understand how this top-notch hotel in every way is not a 4-star!

Hotel is always very well-maintained and clean. The staff is kind and helpful. Linens are always changed, bathroom fixtures are in good condition. Reserved and guarded parking, beachfront hotel, equipped beach. Varied breakfast, sweet and savory, with fresh fruit and good quality espresso coffee. The only drawback is the absence of an evening restaurant, even though the area is full of them... but I must say that lately everyone is trying their hand at gourmet, innovative cuisines and a classic restaurant with quality fish cooked very simply is missing. They at the hotel offer a paid service for lunch on the hotel's splendid terrace. The lifeguards are helpful, but having the vendor on duty inflate the air mattress is not something I find nice... I would provide a pump or something else. The beach is clean, with a shower, bathrooms, changing room, and even beach towels included in the room cost. Umbrellas and sun loungers are always new and clean. Nice for a hygienist like me to smell the scent of clean everywhere. Everything recommended.
