Great central location for walking to all the landmarks in the area (coliseum, The Vatican, Trevi Fountain) Great Hospitality and breakfast, and the Air conditioner is very powerful which is great for cooling off after walking around in the heat for hours. The only downside is the walls are pretty thin and you will hear everything from the neighboring rooms.

What a gem of a place! A lovely B&B on the fourth floor (with lift thank god). Really spacious room with such a comfy bed. Room had mini fridge, sofa, big wardrobe & tea / coffee making facilities. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts & any questions we asked were answered with lots of advice or recommendations. Breakfast was continental that you ordered on a google form the night before. The pastries were delicious & so fresh, along with yogurt, cereal, toast, fruit & of course coffee! The location was fantastic. Step out the door onto lots of restaurants & bars, the Roman forum about a 2 minute walk away & the colosseum no more than 5 minutes. We walked to all other sights such as Trevi fountain & pantheon. A choice of 2 metro stations on line B just over 5 minute walk away (which you tap onto for a ticket just like London). Straight into Termini station where you can pick up line A metro or other train lines. We took the metro to the Vatican as we had early tickets, but wandered back, stopping off for lunch, then sights, then more drinks. So the Vatican is walkable, but it is about 45 minutes away. I really recommend this as a place to stay. In Rome, you don’t need a fancy hotel - just a great base, with lovely hosts in a good location for eating, drinking & sightseeing, all of which this place offers.
