A Roma San Pietro Best Bed

Our experience at A Roma San Pietro B&B was extremely negative. After traveling for approximately twelve hours, we arrived with our two young daughters and had to wait outside on the street for nearly tree hours without being able to enter or receive any response. We tried calling the property many times and also had to contact Booking.com repeatedly to ask for assistance and file a complaint. When the person in charge finally answered, the way we were treated was rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in empathy. Instead of trying to help us or respectfully explain what had happened, the person insisted that we should leave and find another place to stay. We were not expecting special treatment. We simply expected communication, respect, and basic consideration, especially since we were a tired family carrying luggage and traveling with two children after a long journey. Unfortunately, none of those qualities were shown. The location may be convenient, but the treatment we received completely ruined our arrival in Rome. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property to families or to travelers who value responsible, respectful, and professional service.

Day 16, gloomy morning. Appointment regularly booked on Booking.com for 9:00 am with the "legendary" Alessandro del Best Bed. Present: me, my wife and our two children, one disabled. 9:00 - none. 9:20 - still no one. After 5-6 phone calls (apparently Alessandro was busy in matters of extreme urgency), he finally answers. With a touching kindness, he informs us that he will call us back in 20 minutes. Hang up without saying goodbye. What a style. After about an hour of waiting under the gray sky of Rome with two children, sensing that perhaps our guest had had an unexpected (like forgetting completely that he had a job), I try to call again. Epic response: "By 9 o'clock I wouldn't have come down even for Jesus Christ" (it was almost 11, but the details are overestimated). He concludes by politely suggesting that we turn elsewhere. Dear Alessandro, I fully understand that sometimes work does not go. I agree, he's in. The problem is that if you don't feel like it, maybe you should avoid involving families with small children (one of them disabled) waiting for you in the rain for an appointment that you confirmed. Textbook customer service. Best Bed? More like "Best Left Alone". Rating: ⭐ (and only because zero stars is not an option)

Horrible escapes and the owner literally teased me for 2 days. Upon arrival at the property the owner was not found and the key delivery, document registration and payments, were handled by a sort of cleaning lady. He warned us that the room had not been cleaned and told us that it would be within the hour. But by our return in the afternoon nothing had been done. And despite my different requests, by phone and by message, for two days we did not have the cleaning and even the towels! The room was very dirty and maybe never clean. The toilets are there we had to clean them ourselves in order to use them. There's dust and dirt everywhere and they screw you over with prepayment and the fact that the room on arrival is not ready yet. With all this money you can find much better. I was really disappointed.
