Aberdeen

My wife & I (early 70s) stayed here for two nights in June 2026. We chose it based on a recommendation in Rick Steves' travel book and were very pleased with our stay. It's on a quiet street a short walk from a metro station, so it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to visit. There are also many good restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Our room was comfortable, clean and well maintained. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly & helpful - especially the weekend desk staff. Our rate included a good breakfast buffet, and the hotel's free WiFi worked very well in our room.

The location is magnificent, breakfasts in the cafe nearby. Clean room, white towels, shower gel shampoo available. Windows won't open, but there's air conditioning. It works a little noisily, but it does its job. The friendly staff at reception. For 1-2 nights it will stop fine. Taxi to the airport 60 euros.

This quaint hotel is centrally located within Roma, walking distance to all city sites. We were safe, close to metro and train and loved the location. Our hosts were helpful and kind. Breakfast was included and good. It was a small room for two large pieces of luggage, (women traveling w a lot of bags!) but it worked for us! Would recommend!
