Al Passetto St Peters bike

We always holiday as close as a local as possible and this certainly ticks that box. No frills accommodation in such a beautiful city. Plus side everything you would need for the weeks stay we had, clean and easily accessible. Room for improvement air con that actually worked and although we had a private bathroom you had to leave your room to access it. Would have been better to know beforehand but not a deal breaker. On a personal note more information on local sight seeing would have been invaluable, plus a restaurant guide. Nice touch they will look after your things until you need to leave for the airport regardless of your check out time. Meant we could use all of our last day without lugging a suitcase with us too. Friendly, helpful and spoke English 😬

We stayed for 3 nights during a city break to Rome. Less than 5 mins to Vatican, and 10mins walk to the metro. Located in a quiet area of the city (at night), neighbourhood seemed friendly and relaxed. Not sign posted as it's located within an apartment building, but once we found it we were very happy - clean, comfortable and secure. It's basically an apartment with 6 rooms.......3 of which are private bedrooms and 3 of which are the matching private bathrooms. Breakfast was available from the cafe just outside and next door - very friendly and welcoming. It's set a short walk away from the main city area and tourist sights but we enjoyed the quiet walk back after dinner in the evenings. We would certainly return on our next trip to rome.

Just a few minutes walk away from the Vatican. Also within walking distance from other attractions like Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The bathroom / toilet is private but you have to go out of your room, just as promised. Very clean room and bathroom. Water and tea / coffee making facilities a nice touch. ### Make sure you take the mobile and number with you - you'll need to call them to come and open for you!!
