Ambasciatori Palace Hotel

Very beautiful building. We arrived very early in the morning. The manager Marco was very nice, he helped a lot and gave a lot of god information and advice. Also the breakfast was very nice, the waiters were very friendly.

Great experience overall. Literally almost perfect. Great room, and hotel. We had lunch our first day (excellent!) while waiting for our room and a dinner the next day that was INCREDIBLE. Old Fashioneds at Charlie's rooftop bar were better than any I have ever had. 3 little complaints: Our room wasn't ready until almost 3:30. Then trainee at front desk couldn't process our credit card. We tried to get her to try "tap" method, but she wasn't willing to try so we gave her another card. When we checked out, we insisted and it worked first try. The last morning (3rd morning) we were seated by the hostess in middle of the main dining room for breakfast and had to ask for coffee after 15 minutes of being ignored.

Roman stay for my birthday and our visit to the Internazionali BNL d’Italia. I finally decide to try this hotel that has always attracted me, but that I hadn't yet had the chance to test. Upon our arrival we are welcomed warmly and are told the history of the building, dating back to the early 1900s: a building that hosted ambassadors visiting Rome and that, over the years, has also been a library and the seat of the American embassy. A detail that adds charm to the experience. We are staying in a Premium room with a balcony overlooking Via Veneto. I must premise that, in our couple, I am the one most sensitive to rooms and facilities... but this time my wife was the one who gasped: the room is spacious, the style is refined, and the balcony overlooking Via Veneto is a significant plus. The location is very convenient and very central: everything is within walking distance. We also tried the gym, equipped with new-generation machines. The restaurant is an absolute must-try, offering excellent cuisine. We have not eaten meat for more than 15 years and we were literally pampered. Another experience to treat yourself to is the aperitif on the panoramic terrace: excellent drinks and a true dolce vita atmosphere. A sincere thank you goes to the staff, who were always friendly, attentive, and helpful. If you are looking for a high-level 5-star stay in my city, you are in the right place!!
