If you want a pleasant journey in magic Rome don’t stay at Ani’s B&B Picture I posted says it all, but I will do a small recap of the nightmare I lived in one of their dirty and smelly rooms. - Bathroom has a noxious smell, probably due to sewer not consider to fix. See the picture I posted and you will realize how anti hygienic is the environment itself. - Shower dirty old and with mold. You can barely close the shower cabin. When you are showering water will flow out of it cause broken. Not to mention the toilet brush. Disgusting. - If you’re allergic to dust you won’t feel well because of the dust all over the place. - Very poor offer of breakfast. You’ll have biscuits in a container touched by all the guests, a small fridge in the common kitchen (dirty as well) with milk - Wifi weak. Didn’t work most of the time Last, owner never messaged to make sure we were doing fine with rooms and stuff. I don’t even know why this BB has good reviews, but I will never ever go back.

We stayed at Ani B & B for five nights and had a brilliant time. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy, there was plenty of hot water and simple but delicious breakfasts every day. The location is amazing, right beside some great restaurants and so central. We walked to most of the tourist spots with no bother. This is really value for money, I would recommend for anyone coming to Rome.

Room was perfect and clean - we were only sleeping in it as there is so much to see you hardly spend time in the room. Marco was very helpful when we arrived and the rest of the time we were left to get on with our own things but he was contactable if we needed him. Rooms were cleaned daily. Location is excellent as only a 15 minute walk from the Colosseum and the Metro is a stone throw away - not that we used it as Rome is a place you want to walk and find it's treasures. Breakfast is basic and is left for you to fend for yourself in the kitchen but although the Romans like sweet breakfast, there is a fridge with meat and cheese etc as they appreciate this isn't to everyone's taste and is handy if you want to store your own food. There is also cereals and a coffee maker you can use at any time. Loved this B&B and would certainly go back when we return to Rome
