B&B Millyhouse

We were here on a three-day trip to Rome, the facility met our expectations, this time they were not large, we wanted to have a nice nice room with bathroom in a good location and reasonably priced. We got it. The rooms were cleaned daily and the patio had its own atmosphere. The breakfast was not very good and varied because it was typically Mediterranean, that is toast with jam etc. Close to two metro stations. The main attractions on this side of the Tiber could be walked without a problem in one day.

Worst experience I had is with this hotel! They charged me extra for no reason, room is very dirty, shower head is also dirty, I'm even afraid to take shower. Hotel staff was clever enough to charge my account first, and now refusing to give my money back! They charged me same money as other 5 star hotel, I'm very upset!

The Millyhouse is an acceptable hotel very well situated for a busy weekend of sightseeing in the Eternal City, right by the Termini railway station and within walking distance of must-see sites. You'll need the skills of a detective to find it when you first arrive, but once you do the staff are friendly and gave lots of information on how to get to the top sites, and handed out a map at check in (be prepared to pay the Rome city tax on arrival). It was speedy and personal. The people trying to sell selfie sticks incessantly in the local area are not unique to that area, and seem to be something you will have to endure everywhere in otherwise awe-inspiring Rome. The room was clean and tidy and pretty spacious, although the walls are very thin and I wouldn't recommend it to disabled travellers. The breakfast was slightly disappointing; there were only three tables in the breakfast room so it's very much a race to breakfast if you don't want to wait for a table to become free. The breakfast itself was basic. It was very easy to check out and I'd recommend it to any tourists who aren't too fussy and want somewhere in Rome for a weekend break.
