There is a Colosseum nearby, but if I were you, I wouldn't trust what they promise, as they might break their word.
I chose this hotel for its location, and the Colosseum is indeed nearby. Unfortunately, the hotel is located directly above a bar with loud music and DJ sets. The noise and vibrations continued until about 2:00 AM, making it impossible to sleep. If you plan to go to bed before 2:00 AM, I would not recommend staying here.
I was even more disappointed by the hotel's subsequent response. After I reported the issue, the hotel **confirmed in writing** that they would refund 200 euros for the last night so we could move to another hotel. Later, they didn't transfer anything, breaking their promise, and have not communicated at all. I learned through Booking.com that they refused to refund their promised amount.
Based on my experience, I wouldn't rely on any promises from this hotel.

Dreadful
There's no hope of getting to sleep when there's constant BOOM BOOM BOOM and shouting from the downstairs bar. This is a nightly occurrence and goes on into the small hours
Two pods of coffee and thats your lot, there's not even a glass to get water from the sink
There's black mold in the shower, and you cant get the overhead shower to work. The aircon doesn't work so the room is either freezing or boiling hot.
The is no breakfast, so Ive no idea why its called a Bed and Breakfast.
The room is well positioned for the colosseum.

1st Floor markets to the LGBT community and is a (for our room) unique and beautiful hotel that is close to the colosseum, at the heart of several bars, a few minutes walk from the metro. It was affordable and staff were very accommodating!
They have mini splits for climate control that did quite well - room was a comfortable temperature (which was nice after coming back from tours in a city that can be quite humid and muggy).
The only drawback is the volume - you can certainly hear the street traffic (and horns - Italians LOVE their horns). They do provide ear plugs if needed.
We want to come back to Rome someday and this will definitely be where we look!
