Please don’t ruin your vacation like we ruined our honeymoon by staying in this horrible place. We stayed in 3 different hotels (different cities) throughout our honeymoon in Italy. They were all amazing... one better than the other. Until we got to Babuino 127... that’s where the nightmare began. We arrived at night so couldn’t leave. Next day everything was booked. So had to suffer 2 nights until we finally found better for our last 2 nights. We found same price, more modern and even better location hotel that didn’t have all the negatives of Babuino 127. So here are some of the negatives: 1. They don’t change towels or bedding for 3 days so if you stay 4 nights, never really. There was no advance notice until check in. If I knew that in advance I wouldn’t book. I never stayed in a hotel like that... 2. Recycled toilet paper... 3. Dirty as hell... mold in the shower... everything is dusty 4. No safe in the room. We had to carry all valuables including passports with us for 2 days until we found a better hotel. 5. 2 sets of stairs in the room. One by front door and another by bathroom. I ended up falling and almost broke my ankle. 6. Outdated. Not only key is used not a card but have to insert key half way to open... hard to open and close... do we live in the Stone Age??? 7. Even front door to the complex was a problem. One of the nights we were all looked out and waited for 30 mins for staff to arrive. 8. No one in the reception even during the day... unless you call him or someone is checking in... Don’t get fooled by price and location.... you can find better location for THE SAME price or even cheaper.... it is not as cheap as a place like this should of been.

This is our second time staying here. The location cannot be beat. Beautiful clean well sized rooms even though there were three of us this time, serviced every day. Great restaurants to choose from in close distance as well as a handy supermarket. We walked everywhere we wanted to see- Vatican, Pantheon, Colusseum, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain. Planning our return trip next year. Thank you
