Bb Sub Urbe Roma

I travelled with my daughter and although this was a little difficult to locate, it was a real gem in terms of convenience and location. Our room had the view shown on this review - we really enjoyed the buzz of the square with it's cafe/bar culture. The scene really got going late in the evening so it was quite noisy but that didn't bother us too much once the windows were closed. Step out of the front door and you can see the Colosseum! Breakfast was brought to our room on a tray - typically Italian with warm drink, fruit juice, fruit and pastries. The room and en suite were spotlessly clean (and we are picky!), the staff (owner I think) was most helpful and efficient. The cost was very reasonable and we would definitely return for further visits.

This B&B is located perfectly. The Colosseum is in 7 minutes distance, you can reach Rome's main station, Termini, in 15 minutes on foot, while Piazza Venezia is about 10 minutes away. Not to mention the lovely Piazza della Madonna dei Monti on which the rooms have view; the Square can get crowded and rather noisy in the evenings, though. The nearest metro station, Cavour, is 5 minutes on foot. There are several restaurants, bars and cafeterias in the area, as well as supermarkets and souvenir shops. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but cleanliness could be improved. The host, Tania, is very kind and helpful; however, she speaks little English, making communication a bit difficult. Breakfast is scarce, Italian style (a croissant, a yoghurt and a capuccino), served inside one's room. Last, but not least, the rooms have a really decent price, taking all the advantages above-mentioned into consideration.

Best area to be in Rome. We were now in decembre and it was great. Like on pictures, so true and honest place. Great, nice, clean, friendly, safe, beautiful, hospitality, amazing and popular place with great people. Location is the best for everything, live popular square Piazza della Madonna dei Monti, and you can do anything from there... Breakfast is served directly in your room, Tania is the best, great person and friend. thank you for everything it was great...Goran & Tamara.
