Located near the Lepanto metro and buses. The rooms are small and only some are renovated. The others need modernization work. Breakfast is minimal. The staff is kind and helpful. Prices are average

I booked to stay at this hotel and expected to stay there but on arrival we were shown to our room which was in a completely different building about 2 blocks away. It was a mixed use building with some apartments and maybe 6 “hotel” rooms. The walls were paper thin and very noisy when people came and went, were even just talking to each other and also from the 2 bars/restaurants on the ground floor. The room was in desperate need of an update and cleanliness was not as good as I’d have hoped. Bedding very basic and just thrown over bed and not fitted properly. One morning housing-keeping came very early and we were still in the room and they just left some new towels outside and never came back. The hair dryer and kettle worked intermittently and the safety locker not at all. There was no soap to wash hands. Very little interaction with hotel staff (as were in another building of course) but interaction did have wasn’t brilliant and certainly didn’t feel welcome. One of reasons for choosing the hotel was the terrace on the third floor but didn’t get to make use of it as no point being in another building. Left our bags on last day after checkout but when came to collect they were unattended so just picked them up and left so totally unsecured! The only positive is the location to the metro and to the sites of Rome, especially the Vatican and we were able to walk to most places. In all definitely would not recommend and would not return.

When we arrived, we were put in a room on the ground. The room itself was decent, although it had a musty basement smell due to the moisture, no doubt. When in the room, THERE IS NO INTERNET. This is a pet peeve of mine - when hotels say they have internet but what they mean is they have it in open areas or at the check in desk, and virtually nowhere else. THE BREAKFAST IS BAD. Hot dog franks, tired scrambled eggs (empty half the time). No regular coffee from the machine (just bad drip), no fresh fruit. Only canned. Obviously skimping out to save cost.
