Bellesuite Rome

We arrived very late into Rome thanks to a delayed flight, and were able to communicate with the owner who made sure we were able to check in after 11pm. He also left us a board to write our breakfast requirements, which was thoughtful. Our room was small but adequate, with a nice hot shower, clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. The room, though small by Australian standards, was quite spacious enough for a couple with a suitcase and a cabin-sized bag each. A view of the inner courtyard, but we weren't there long enough to need a view! Breakfast was on time and was ample for our needs, and good. Overall a good location (a short walk from Termini) and perfect for one night. We really appreciated being able to check in quite late, and thank the proprietor for this.

Very mediocre place to stay. Room was shoddy. Lamp kept flickering on and off. WiFi was free - when you could actually get it which was very few and far between. Even our room number was written on in marker pen! Breakfast was ok. It was a continental breakfast. The latte was lukewarm, the rest of the food was not too bad. It was served in your room which was good. Only saw a person on reception when we arrived. Only saw another person when she brought breakfast. If you needed any assistance for anything, you were out of luck. The toilet seat was broken, the beds were made daily though I don’t think they cleaned the room on a daily basis. We stayed for four nights. Could not have stayed any longer. Overall, I wouldn’t advise staying there.

If you are visiting Rome with your family for a few days, I suggest that for just a few Euros more that you rent an AirBnB instead. The quad room at this hotel is small. We reserved a quad but they only gave us two pillows and two towels. The pillows were thin and not comfortable. When we respectfully asked for more, they got super defensive. Toilet paper, soap, shampoo not automatically restocked. Breakfast delivery was a nice touch. This area near the Termini was centrally located but very touristy. Had to leave area to get authentic food. Taxis are relatively cheap so skip this American tourist area and stay in real Rome.
